Good morning and wish you a devout Passion Sunday! (Lk 22, 14-23..)

When Luke the evangelist narrates the Passion of Jesus, besides the general sequence that is found in the narratives of the other three evangelists, he in particular emphasises the exceptional serenity of "the Master." And for those of us who follow the entire chronological sequence, he suggests an attitude which the disciple should have, not only while reading the passion or hearing when it is officially proclaimed today as a narrative, but assimilate it in one's life as a true disciple of the same Master, who was led as a sheep for the slaughter.

Can we assimilate this extraordinary serene attitude of Jesus in our life, even when we may be falsely accused by our own kith & kin, our enemies & foes and by the powers that be, both religious and civil?
